About Vic Lee
Vic Lee is an artist and speaker whose work is rooted in storytelling.
Working across murals, painting, typography, books, public art and ceramics, he uses storytelling as a way to explore human behaviour, curiosity and the stories hidden within everyday life.
From portraits of strangers and large-scale public artworks to international collaborations and speaking engagements, his practice is driven by observation, conversation and a fascination with people and place.

The Journey
The Vic Lee Studio was founded in 2008.
After fifteen years working as a graphic designer and creative director, I began drawing in pen as a way of stepping away from life behind a screen. What started as a personal creative outlet quickly evolved into a full-time artistic practice recognised internationally for its intricate linework, typography and observation-driven storytelling.
Since then, my work has expanded from illustration and screenprints to large-scale murals, artist residencies, exhibitions, books, public art projects and creative collaborations around the world.
I have worked with organisations including Pokémon, McLaren Racing, The Tate, BBC Studios, Virgin Voyages, The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Famous Grouse, whilst continuing to develop a personal studio practice centred around drawing, pattern, portraiture and storytelling.
A Life In The Day Of An Artist
Part memoir, part portfolio and part sketchbook, A Life In The Day Of An Artist brings together almost two decades of artwork, commissions, observations and experiences.
The book offers a behind-the-scenes look at the projects, ideas and moments that have shaped my career, alongside reflections on creativity, risk-taking and building a life around making things.
