The Corona Diary Vol. 1 & 2
A visual diary documenting life, observation and human behaviour during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2020 the world changed. Covid. Vic began the year with new projects lined up, but come March all that stopped. As a way to deal with lockdown, vic began a journal. Of news stories around the world, written in sound bites with illustrations. A chronicle, day by day of what was happening. Originally a private diary, after a post on social media, it quickly became apparent that many people were enamoured by his journal.
This led to Vic focusing on doing the diary everyday and self publishing and funding 2,500 books. The edition sold out globally in 8 weeks. The book going on to win many awards for storytelling and typography as well as being used in school and university curriculums around the world. Vic personally donated over £10,000 to food charities as a way of gratitude for the support.
